Getting started

Introduction

Soffid provides you a collection of addons which can be installed to add funcionalities to the Soffid Console.

There are several Addons available to be installed to add functionalities to the Soffid Console. These addons can be found at: http://www.soffid.com/download in the Addons section.

Installation

Fist of all, you need to download the proper addon from the download page.

To install an addon you need to be connected to Soffid console http://<server-name>:8080 with and administrator user or user with permissions to preform the installation addon action.

Then navigate to "Main Menu > Administration > Configure Soffid > Global Settings > PluginsPlugins".

By clicking on the add button (+) or add new action on the hamburger icon, then Soffid allows you to pick the file. When you select the addon, Soffid will install it and that functionality will be available. For more information you can visit the Plugins page.

Addons can create their own authorizations that automatically will appear at this screen. When a new addon has been installed and applied, the first thing to do use to be assign permissions for this new addon. In fact, administrators won't be able to manage the addon unless the log out and log in to get the newly created permissions.
