 Welcome everyone. We are pleased to inform you that Soffid new releases are now available and we have updated our download page with new versions of the Soffid components. Please note that in Soffid 4 , you will only find the Console and Syncserver on our enterprise download page . Starting with this version 4, Addons and Connectors must be downloaded directly from the internal marketplace on the Licence and plugins page. For more information, please consult our online documentation . Below is the list of the components and changes made since the previous version was published. 

 

 

 

 Soffid 4 

 

 

 

 

 Console 4.0.67 (from 64) 

 

 

 

 A new generic property “removeDisabledObjects” has been created which can be used in all agents, on the “user” and “accounts” objects. By default, its value is “false”; you only need to create it if it requires the “true” value. New feature 

 

 

 A new issue “user-login-limit” has been created to manage situations where an OpenID service provider exceeds the threshold for requests per minute. New feature 

 

 

 In some versions, when installing Soffid for the first time, the initial popup was failing 

 

 

 On the “Issues” page, all issues were being generated with the number ‘1’; the counter now works correctly. 

 

 

 Sometimes the GeoIP service would return the “nan” value and cause unhandled errors 

 

 

 The “View Tasks” option on the “Sync server monitoring” page was having performance issues, and the data displayed was incorrect 

 

 

 A new parameter “SOFFID_DISABLE_GEOIP” has been added for use in the Docker Console configuration in environments where there is no internet connection or where this service is not required. Bookstack 

 

 

 Security fix: users of Windows systems with the ESSO component were able to open applications with administrator permissions even if they did not have them 

 

 

 New methods have been added to the Soffid API to change a password with a specific expiration date. Soffid API 

 

 

 On the “Password policy” page, if the same “Forbidden words” was entered twice, an error would occur when changing the password 

 

 

 From this version onwards, the “Mail domains” page will be accessible with the AM and PAM licences (previously it was only available in IGA) 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Federation addon 4.0.37 (from 36) 

 

 

 

 A new “Device posture” feature has been added to allow SSO to be used only if devices comply with policies regarding antivirus software, the latest updates and other settings. New feature 

 

 

 It is no longer possible to change the look and feel of virtual identity providers. 

 

 

 New limit to prevent OpenID service providers from exceeding a threshold for requests per minute. New feature

 Update this addon to use of AI in scripts by default if the AM or IRC modules have been activated. New feature

 The property “createDisabledAccounts” has been added in Soffid 4 

 

 

 The property “key” has been removed from Soffid 4, the agent use the “SAMAccountName” always as a key
